Selecting the perfect baby shower gift can be difficult. Of course, you want to make the expectant parents happy and select items from the baby registry, so a good place to start is the baby registry. Have they selected a baby theme for the room, earth friendly gifts, or a color scheme? Utilize the registry selections to design a unique gift that fits the expecting couple. Why not take those ideas, to create a fun, and interesting gift. Why not, give a gift that will make the recipient say “aahh, its perfect”!

This custom Baby Boy Gift Basket was designed for a guest that was out of state, they couldn’t attend the baby shower but wanted to send a gift. The close friends wanted to send a special gift to the expectant parents to celebrate the upcoming arrival. They requested the couple’s favorite wine, gourmet snacks, a blue bear with “Baby’s First Bear”, something useful, and a keepsake baby item. The useful baby item was a blue burp cloth embroidered with a teddy bear and the keepsake was the book “You Are My I Love You”. Even though they were not at the event they were able leave a lasting impression.

This Baby Boy Gift Basket included items from the registry and additional items that matched the transportation theme of the baby’s room. When asking questions, to design the gift, we discovered that the expectant dad loved the book “Horton Hears A Who”. We included the book and a cuddly plush elephant “Horton”. The storage container has a letter “C” for Christopher, accented with cars from the Disney “Cars” movie. The gifts selected matched the colors and theme of bedding and decorative items for the baby’s room.

When we discussed the Baby Girl Gift Basket, the client mentioned that a photo of the nursery was on Facebook. We utilized the colors from the nursery, the Bohemian design theme, and the use of letter “J” as decorative art in the room. We brought the ideas together to create a one of a kind custom gift. When you have a picture of the nursery it is easier to find perfect gifts, the picture frame fit perfectly with the room décor, and additional items like the darling melamine dinner set reflects the design vibe.

This Baby Boy Gift Basket was designed with a woodland animal theme, from the shower invitation and the baby registry. We utilized the baby name “Declyn” on a customized picture frame with a cute family of owls. We tied the deep browns, forest green, blue sky, with a splash of orange accent.  The items selected for the Gift Basket are whimsical, fun, and baby friendly.

This Baby Girl Gift Basket was designed for a future equestrian lover. We integrated the bright, cheerful colors of the nursery, with lemon meringue accent. The gift included a plush pink polka dot pony, horsey themed bib, rocking horse picture frame, and “If I Were A Pony” book. It’s important to select baby items that will stand the test of time, like a cute stuffed animal or a snuggly blanket that the child will love as they get older.
